What a world we live in.

Lately there has been so much craziness going on that I'm almost to the point at which I just want to lock me, Andy, and Anna up in the house for safety. Let's see, in the past week here's what's been in the headlines - cargo ship is hijacked by pirates, US electricity grid has been hacked into, multiple shootings around the country, earthquake in Italy, and the writers of "House" made us all believe that the actor (instead of the character) actually committed suicide. At least we found out that that was just part of the storyline and not true. I really try not to let the actions of others affect how I live my life, but how can you do that now? You can't. You have to keep your guard up just to try to stay safe these days. There are so many freedoms that my daughter will never know simply because of the world around us now. I only pray that the Lord will guide Andy and myself in keeping Anna safe and allow her to become a beautiful productive young woman.
