You know the old saying - Life is short..... That really hit home for me this morning. While reading the paper I saw an article that described a car accident that occurred about a mile from my house. A young lady (20 years old) was driving home and was involved in a fatal accident. She had her whole life ahead of her and in the blink of an eye it was taken away. We seem to focus on materialistic things and get caught up in the day to day dramas of our lives and loose site of the wondrous blessings bestowed upon us until you hear of something like this happening. Although I didn't know the young lady, her life/death has changed me. From this day forward I vow to be a better Christian example, not to sweat the small stuff, see the glass as half full, love more deeply, and to thank God for each day that I have with my friends and family. Mortal life is indeed short, and we should make the most of it every day. With this being said, thank-you all for being/sharing in my life. I know I'm a better person for knowing each of you!!
